A Graveside Service celebrating the life of Cynthia Harper Maryes, 62, of Bunnell, will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 10:30 AM in Espanola Cemetery, Espanola FL.

Mrs. Maryes, a resident of Bunnell for over 50 years, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at the Stuart F. Meyers Hospice House, Palm Coast, FL. She was born on November 29, 1950 in Palatka, FL a daughter of the late Keith and Joan Gerhart Harper.

Mrs. Maryes retired as the Office Manager for Dr. Shams after 23 years of service. She enjoyed sewing, word puzzles, and talking on the phone with family and friends.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were a brother, James Harper and a nephew, Michael Harper.

Surviving are her husband of over 41 years Otis D. Maryes, two daughters, Ulrica Bennett and her husband John of Seville, FL and Sabrina Schuenhoff and her husband Stephen of Ft. Wayne, IN; five grandchildren, Julia Leiter, Westly Bennett, Christopher Schuenhoff, Cynthia Schuenhoff, and Andrew Schuenhoff; two great grandchildren, Joshua Leiter and Josie Leiter; four sisters, Sandra Terrell, Julie Young and Pam Harper, all of Bunnell and Kathy Moody of Flagler Beach; two brothers, Steve Harper and Johnny Harper, both of Bunnell; several nieces and nephews; and her constant companion of 13 years, her dog, Lady.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House, 180 Memorial Medical Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.

Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
